Start a call from the conversation, not from a calendar invite.
The short answer
Starting a call inside the channel where the discussion is removes the link, the invite and the lost tab. Dock puts a meeting button in every channel and DM.
What changes
No link to paste
Join from the channel or DM where the talk is happening.
Chat beside the call
Messages and files stay with the meeting.
Calendar when you need it
Schedule ahead with an event that carries the meeting.
Limits
Small calls run peer to peer; larger rooms need a LiveKit server. There is no recording yet.
