Acceptable use policy

What you may not do with Dock, how to report abuse, and what we do when this policy is broken.

Last updated: 16 October 2026. Dock is provided by BobOffice, LLC.

Why this policy exists

Dock is a shared service: many organisations use the same servers. This policy sets out what you may not do with Dock, so the service stays safe and reliable for everyone. It is part of our terms of service and applies to every account, workspace, bot and integration.

Do not use Dock to

  • break any law, or help anyone else break one;
  • send spam, bulk unsolicited messages or invitations, or run phishing or scams;
  • harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or promote violence or hatred against people based on who they are;
  • share sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
  • share content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or that you have no right to share;
  • share other people's personal data without a lawful basis, or record people without the notice and consent the law requires;
  • spread malware, viruses or anything designed to damage, spy on or take control of devices or data;
  • impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent who you are.

Do not misuse the service

  • try to access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours, or get around access controls, limits or security features;
  • probe, scan or test the service for weaknesses, except as allowed by our responsible disclosure policy;
  • overload or disrupt the service, for example with denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests;
  • create accounts in bulk or by automated means, or get around the sign-up check or other limits;
  • scrape the service or use it to build a competing product;
  • resell or offer the service to others without our written permission.

WhatsApp messaging

If your workspace connects WhatsApp (Dock uses ChatDaddy for this), you must follow WhatsApp's own rules, including getting the opt-in consent it requires before you message people. Do not use Dock to send messages that the channel's rules or local law prohibit.

AI features and agents

Do not use AI features or connected AI agents to create content that breaks this policy, or to make decisions with legal or similarly serious effects on people without human review. You are responsible for what bots and agents do with your account or token.

Reporting abuse

To report abusive content or an abusive account, use More > Report abuse on the message in Dock, or email support@bobwork.ai with the subject line "Abuse". Tell us what happened and where. For security problems, see our security page.

What we may do

If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts or workspaces, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where reasonable, we will tell the account holder or workspace administrator first. Workspace administrators are expected to act on misuse within their own workspace.
