Move your chat history from Lark
Bring your Lark text history into Dock. Files and images are not imported.

Steps
Set up Dock
Install the server and create your workspace.
Export from Lark
Export your chat history using Lark's own tools. Check Lark for how.
Run the import
Point the importer at the export. Text messages are brought in.
Check
Open a few channels and search for a known message.
Invite your team
Share invite codes and switch conversations over.
What comes across
Text messages
Imported into channels and DMs.
Searchable history
Imported messages are searchable in any language.
What does not come across
Files and images are not imported. Docs, calendar items, approvals and tables are not imported. Rebuild docs in Docs, tables in Base and events in Calendar. Approvals are not built yet, so they stay in Lark.
Keep your Lark export as a backup. Run the import on a test workspace first if your history is large.
Questions
Can I keep using Lark meanwhile?
Yes. Many teams run both during a trial.
Is the import reversible?
Back up the SQLite file before importing, and restore it if needed.
Does this cost extra?
No. The import is part of Dock. Your server cost is separate.
