Search that finds things
Why search matters more than channel structure, and how Dock handles it.
Nobody remembers where
Teams rarely remember which channel a message was in. They remember a word. Dock searches all messages in any language, in under 100ms on about 13,000 messages (our own test, your results will vary with hardware).
How to use it
Search box
Type a word and see matches across channels and DMs.
cmd-K
Jump to any channel or person from the keyboard.
Any language
Search works across languages, including Chinese and Japanese text.
What it does not do yet
Search covers messages. It does not read inside uploaded files. Filters and saved searches are not available today.
