Team chat that connects Notion, GitHub, Claude and Codex
Why connecting chat to the tools your team already uses beats another app to check, and how Dock does it.

The problem
Teams lose time moving between chat, a docs tool, GitHub and an AI assistant, pasting context from one into another. The fix is not another app; it is connecting the ones you have so context travels with the conversation.
What Dock connects
Notion
Connect your Notion pages, type @notionpage_ in any chat to tag one. Everyone gets a preview card and your agents can read the page. Read-only.
GitHub
Link GitHub read-only. Pin repos to a chat, tag them with @github_, and ask the AI about them without naming the repo.
Claude
Use your own Claude plan (Pro, Max or Team) through Claude Code on your computer, or an API key, in a private Dock chat.
Codex
Connect Codex the same way, with an API key or your plan through the Codex CLI.
Any MCP agent
Create a token on Connect AI and add the MCP server to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf or Gemini CLI.
A first afternoon
Create an account and a workspace
Sign up on dock.bobwork.ai or run your own server.
Connect Notion and GitHub
Follow the help guides; both are read-only.
Connect your agent
Add Claude or Codex, or any MCP agent.
Ask
"Summarise today's #engineering and link the Notion spec we discussed."
What it does not do
Notion and GitHub connections are read-only: Dock never edits a page or pushes code. Integrations are young, so check the guides for exactly what each covers before you promise anything to your team.
Where Dock fits
Dock is a self-hosted team workspace for small teams. It has channels and DMs with threads and search, video meetings in the same app (with recording, transcripts and AI summaries), real-time docs, tables, calendar, tasks and a drive. An MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude Code read and post in your channels, and there is a Lark history import.
It runs as one Node process with one SQLite file, so backups and moves are copying a file. There is no per-seat licence; your cost is your own server. You run the server yourself, and the integration list is smaller than the big hosted tools.
Questions
Does Dock edit my Notion pages?
No. The connection is read-only.
Can Dock push to GitHub?
No. It can only read what the token can see.
Do I need an API key for Claude?
No. You can use your own Claude plan through Claude Code, or an API key.
Does it work with Codex?
Yes, with an API key or a plan through the Codex CLI.
