How to connect Notion to your team chat and mention pages
Tag a Notion page in any chat and give everyone a preview, without giving anyone edit access.

The short answer
In Dock, connect Notion once, then type @notionpage_ in any chat to tag a page. Everyone in the chat sees a clickable chip and a preview card, and your AI agents can read the page. The connection is read-only: Dock never edits a Notion page.
Set it up
Create a Notion integration
In Notion settings, create an integration and copy its secret.
Share pages with it
Notion only shows pages you share with the integration.
Add it in Dock
Paste the secret into Integrations. It is stored encrypted on your Dock server.
Choose who can use it
Just you, selected teammates, or the whole company.
Why it helps
No pasted text
Link a living page instead of copying it.
Previews
Teammates see context without leaving chat.
Agents can read it
Ask an agent to summarise the spec you tagged.
Control
You choose who can use the connection; removing someone takes effect immediately.
Where Dock fits
Dock is a self-hosted team workspace for small teams. It has channels and DMs with threads and search, video meetings in the same app (with recording, transcripts and AI summaries), real-time docs, tables, calendar, tasks and a drive. An MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude Code read and post in your channels, and there is a Lark history import.
It runs as one Node process with one SQLite file, so backups and moves are copying a file. There is no per-seat licence; your cost is your own server. You run the server yourself, and the integration list is smaller than the big hosted tools.
Questions
Can Dock edit Notion pages?

Who sees the preview?

Do I need a paid Notion plan?
You need permission to create an integration in your Notion workspace; check Notion's terms.
